Direction of kaaba for Namaz | My Qiblah

Muslims face in the Qibla when they are praying. The Kaaba in Mecca is the most sacred site in Islam, and so the Qibla is directed towards it. All Muslims pray towards the Qibla, regardless of where they are in the world. Knowing the Qibla is important for all Muslims, as it is a key part of our prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Prayer is not valid unless the face is turned towards the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca)." (Sahih Muslim)

There are a number of ways to determine the Qibla, including using a compass or the sun. However, the most accurate way is to use the Kaaba itself as a reference point.

Direction of kaaba for Namaz is always pointing towards the Qibla, no matter where you are in the world. So, if you can see the Kaaba, you know the Qibla.

If you're ever unsure of the Qibla, don't worry – just ask a nearby Muslim! We're always happy to help.
