About Namaz in Quran, or prayer, is one of the five pillars of Islam. All Muslims are required to pray five times daily at dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset, and dusk.

Numerous verses in the Quran discuss the value of prayer and its advantages. For instance, verse 155 of Chapter 2 says, “And reminds yourself of Allah’s favours, that you may be thankful.”
