Direction of Qibla for Namaz by My Qiblah

 The Saudi Arabian city of Makkah is where the Qibla is usually pointed. Muhammad, the prophet, was born in Makkah (peace be upon him). Muslims hold that Allah (God) altered the direction of the Qibla in the Quran from Jerusalem to Makkah.

The highest point in a mosque is typically the minaret. A crucial component of Muslim devotion is the Qibla. It serves as a reminder of Muslim unification worldwide.
